Ketu Mahadasha: Some Facts
One of the basic fundamentals of Jyotish is that a person starts to look feel act and behave like the Mahadasha Lord. Ketu “The Monk” is a saintly planet which wants to disengage from the world, and enter the realm of spirituality. It would be better to follow his lead and avoid engaging with the world too much as this would lead to disasters in your life.
The best way to keep the Ketu Mahadasha Lord happy is to do things that he enjoys.
1. Travel to pilgrimages: Ketu is the best time to pack your bags and run to Rishikesh or something like that which is known for seclusion, nature and temples. Ketu is very happy in holy places and can bring you the BLISS of spirituality which no other planet can. Better make a plan with the Monk, you won’t regret it.
2. Don’t work hard: Monks don’t work, and neither should you, as far as possible. Whatever you do, just don’t work very hard. The harder you will try to get engaged with the world, the worse your problems would become.
3. Quit your job: If you are in a job that you hate, welcome Ketu Mahadasha with open arms. He is the liberator, who is going to take you away from a soul sucking job and put you into something that you would love to do, it might not be a great deal at least initially but in the long run you would be happy that you quit your job (God Knows I am).Read Saturn Mahadasha.
4. Have a break up: Well, I know I just gave you a minor heartache. First the job and now the love gone? Well, to be honest, you would thank Ketu Mahadasha once it is done with you. Usually there are relationships that are not supposed to survive because of Karmic reasons. Then there are marriages that should not exist. Ketu is the one who is going to liberate you from a messy marriage and a toxic relationship. Like all things Ketu, it hurst when it happens, but later you are so grateful.
